Crowds gather along Central Avenue to watch this hometown parade, a highlight of Los Alamos County’s Fair and Rodeo weekend. The parade, led by the Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District programs, brings locals and visitors to downtown Los Alamos to celebrate the western roots of the community. This year's theme is "Harnessing Chaos"

Stroll the Stables, North Mesa Stables
Come explore the stables and visit the residents there! Experience this popular event with the whole family. Get up close and personal with horses, llamas, goats, a miniature donkey, chickens and turkeys. Kids will receive Stroll the Stable Passports (9am-11am) provided by the Lujan Homestead Cabin to document their journey and earn stamps. Enjoy pony painting and learning about everything western. Make sure to get your wild west family photos while you are here! Learn about farm and ranching life and the history of the area.
