County Fair & Rodeo Parade
Crowds gather along Central Avenue to watch this hometown parade, a highlight of Los Alamos County’s Fair and Rodeo weekend. The parade, led by the Los Alamos MainStreet program, brings locals and visitors to downtown Los Alamos to celebrate the western roots of the community.
Register for the 2020 Fair & Rodeo Parade HERE. This year’s theme is “Pioneer Ways to Modern Days” in alignment with the Los Alamos County Fair & Rodeo.
Pioneer Ways to Modern Days
Los Alamos has been a community of pioneers from the beginning! Some of our greatest pioneers include the Homesteaders who pioneered farming at high altitude, or the Los Alamos Ranch School who pioneered boys education, and of course the Manhattan Project Scientists and eventually the
Los Alamos National Laboratory who continue to pioneer science and technological discoveries every day!
This community is filled with inspirational innovations and aha moments worth remembering. What inspires you about Los Alamos and its community? How is your business or organization continuing to pioneer new discoveries? How have the pioneers of the past influenced you today?
Help us celebrate how our vision of the past projects us into the future!
