Boris McCutcheon’s performances are dynamic and captivating. His musical style encompasses both rock and folk influences, reminiscent of outlaw storyteller Steve Earle and prolific underground songwriter Michael Hurley. Hailed as a master of the western waltz, his high-desert-folk-core sound falls into a category all its own. McCutcheon has garnered recognition as an “Americana icon” and “King of Americana” in the Netherlands, where he is celebrated for his contemporary interpretation of American roots music. His music emphasizes the themes of home, storytelling, and wilderness, infused with a soulful, poetic, and humorous flair.

​The Quemazon Combo is a group composed entirely of high school students dedicated to learning and performing classic jazz music of all styles, from bebop to funk. Their youthful energy and advanced musical skills combine into an exciting, inventive experience for all. 

​Lone Piñon is a New Mexican string band, or “orquesta típica,” dedicated to preserving the traditional music of Northern New Mexico through bilingual vocals and classic string instrumentation. Founded in 2014, the group draws on centuries of Spanish, Mexican, Indigenous, and American influences, learning directly from elder musicians and historical recordings to bring these once-fading traditions to modern audiences across the U.S. and Mexico.

Desert Blues from Navajo Country Navajo family blues-rock from Albuquerque, New Mexico Turquoise Steel is a Navajo family blues-rock band from Albuquerque bringing blues, soul, and Southwest storytelling to live stages across the region Turquoise Steel blends the raw energy of blues and rock with the deep roots of Navajo tradition. Formed in 2021, this powerful group of musicians brings a fresh, soulful sound that honors culture while igniting the stage. Experience a unique fusion of music, spirit, and storytelling. 

Manzanares fuses Spanish guitar, Latin percussion, and soulful vocals into their signature Nuevo Latino sound. Led by brothers David and Michael Manzanares, the group draws on musical traditions rooted in their upbringing on a historic Spanish ranch in Abiquiu. Backed by an acclaimed ensemble of musicians, Manzanares has earned national and international recognition, including multiple New Mexico Music Awards and NM Music Industry Coalition honors. Their album Gitarra Latino also reached the top 16 Latin songs considered for a Grammy nomination in 2013, helping establish the band as one of the Southwest’s premier Latin acts.

Christina y Los Cuates is a dynamic and versatile musical ensemble, delivering a
fresh sound that seamlessly blends the rich, soulful traditions of the American
Southwest with a powerful, contemporary energy. Led by the talented and
charismatic vocalist and guitarist Christina Gomez, the band offers a high-impact,
engaging performance tailored for any venue, from festival main stages to
intimate acoustic settings.

Paradox is an acoustic jazz quintet that performs a mix of traditional and modern jazz standards across Northern New Mexico.
