Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet 

Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, Central Ave. closes to pedestrian-only traffic and local businesses and organizations hand out candy to costumed families!

Businesses should be registered to distribute candy at their storefront or to set up a separate booth.

Register here for the 2025 event.

We will contact you to let you know where to set up (you must provide your own table and chairs).

Fall Party @ Family Strengths Network

Family Strengths Network, Los Alamos​

​Bring your littles for outdoor games, pumpkin painting (B.Y.O.P.), cookie decorating, trick-or-treating, and a costume runway!! Two days and times to choose from (Oct. 25 and 26). 

3-5 p.m.

Trick-or-Treat with LAMC 

Los Alamos Medical Center - First Floor and Back Lawn

The whole family is invited to stop by the local community hospital for delicious treats and a lot of fun! Many hospital departments will have themed booths and staff passing out candy to all who dare to enter. 

4-6 p.m.

Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet

Downtown Los Alamos

Central Ave. in downtown Los Alamos opens to pedestrian-only traffic and businesses and organizations from within and outside the district hand out candy to costumed kids and families. A free, annual Los Alamos tradition! 

PEEC-a-Boo

Los Alamos Nature Center

They'll be open for extended hours that day with sensory-friendly trick-or-treating, so come on by for candy between 4 – 6 p.m.! Free

High-Tech Halloween at the Bradbury

Bradbury Science Museum

From 4-6 p.m., visit during Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet for some spooky science fun! 

5-7 p.m.

Costume Climb

The Family YMCA

Go climbing in your Halloween Costume at the Y! Ages 5-17. More info at www.laymca.org.

7-8 p.m.

Aliens!

Los Alamos Nature Center, Planetarium

Life on other planets: science fiction or science fact? Come for a spooky journey through our skies in search of friendly neighbors. $6 child/$8 adult/$20 family. More info at peecnature.org/events

All are invited to gather at the Los Alamos Co-op Market to celebrate fall! We will have free pumpkin painting for kids and local vendors will be selling their wares. The co-op deli will be grilling smash burgers an autumnal hot bar.
